The launch date reveal comes shortly after the Galaxy M55s India support page went live. As the name suggests, the Galaxy M55s will be based on the Galaxy M55 and it’s expected to be a slightly upgraded variant. Here’s what to expect from the new Samsung phone.

The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G will launch in India on September 23rd. It’s not revealed if there will be a launch event or a price reveal for the new Samsung phone. The Galaxy M55s 4G is confirmed to go on sale via Amazon, Samsung.com, and select retail stores.
Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G: what to expect
- The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G is confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also feature Vision Booster technology for extra brightness even under bright sunlight.
- The Galaxy M55s 5G will feature a triple-camera setup with a 50MP OIS/No Shake camera. It will house a 50MP front camera for selfies.
- The smartphone will also come with Dual Recording which lets you use the rear and front cameras simultaneously. It also has Nightography for low-light shots and videos.
- In terms of design, the Galaxy M55s looks quite like the Galaxy M55 with the curved edges, thin body, and rear camera placement. It also comes in a similar Turquoise colour like the Galaxy M55.
As for the rest of its specifications, the Galaxy M55s is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, the same chipset that’s present in the M55. It could also launch with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage as one of the variants. In addition to the 50MP camera, the Galaxy M55s could house an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor at the back. It’s also tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
