This Samsung model has been on our radar for quite some time. Recently, we spotted it on India’s BIS website and Wi-Fi Alliance.

From these certification sites, we learned the Galaxy M05 could have a twin named Galaxy F05 with model number SM-E055F/DS. The Galaxy M04 and Galaxy F04 were also similar devices.

Samsung Galaxy M05 design (expected)

Assuming that the Galaxy M05 and F05 are similar devices, we believe the M05 might feature the same design as the Galaxy F05 shown below:

So, the Galaxy F05 could have an Infinity-U waterdrop notch on the front and a vegan leather back. It will be a welcome design to Samsung’s entry-level lineup.

As for internals, there isn’t much known at the moment save for the aforementioned 4GB RAM option and that the phone could ship with a dual SIM card slot and dual-band Wi-Fi.

Meanwhile, its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy M04 has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen, a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, a 13+2MP dual rear camera setup, a 5MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. It launched at Rs 8,499 for the base 4GB+64GB variant.

We expect to learn about the M05 specs and pricing details before long. Stay tuned!
