RAM/Storage options: The report shows what appears to be an internal document shared with retail partners. This reveals the Samsung Galaxy A06 will be offered in two configurations: 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB.
Price: The Samsung Galaxy A06 price in India will be Rs 9,999 for the entry-level 4GB/64GB model and Rs 11,499 for the higher 4GB+ 128GB trim, as per the document. Samsung is yet to confirm the Galaxy A06 India launch date but considering the company is sharing the price details with partners internally, the availability details should also be revealed soon.
Samsung Galaxy A06: what do we know so far?
As said, the Samsung Galaxy A06 launched in Vietnam a few days ago and the specifications are revealed. There’s a good chance the hardware might remain the same on the Indian model as well. We get a 6.7-inch HD+ display with 1600 X 720 pixels resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter. This is the same screen size as the Galaxy A05.
The handset is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which is the same chipset used on the Galaxy A05 as well. We get a 50MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the back and an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies. Again, this is the same setup as the Galaxy A05. The phone runs on Android 14 OS out of the box. The company is promising 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 houses a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support, much like the Galaxy A05. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
