Samsung Galaxy A06 leaked renders reveal complete design and colours | Tech Tips
Samsung Galaxy A06 will arrive as a budget offering that will succeed the Galaxy A05, which debuted last November. The phone already bagged the BIS certification, suggesting an imminent launch in India. While we wait for the announcement, the Samsung Galaxy A06 renders surfaced online and this reveals the complete design, courtesy of prolific leaker Evan Blass.
Samsung Galaxy A06 design has been revealed
- The Samsung Galaxy A06 render shows the phone will have a waterdrop notch to house the selfie snapper and a sizeable chin at the bottom.
- The screen has flat edges and might have a boxy chassis for a good grip on the hand.
- The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge.
- Flipping the phone to the back, you see a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. These are placed flat on the back panel without any casing.
- While this is similar to the predecessor, the camera rings look to be slightly bigger in size.
- What puts the Galaxy A06 aside is the unique textured finish design similar to the Galaxy A05.
- The renders show the phone in white and blue colour options.
Samsung Galaxy A06: what we know so far
The Samsung Galaxy A06 recently appeared on the Geekbench V4.2 listing with the model number SM-A065F. This revealed it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chip, similar to the Galaxy A05. The SoC will only offer 4G network support. The phone has managed to score 1,644 in the single-core and 5,326 points in the multi-core rounds, respectively.
The handset is likely to boot Android 14 OS out of the box and pack 4GB RAM but we believe there could be a 6GB RAM option as well. The display size is expected to be 6.7-inch and the resolution will be HD+, which is fair considering it is a budget offering. For context, this is the same screen size as the Galaxy A05.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 could have a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. If true, this will be a downgrade from 25W charging support on the Galaxy A05. The handset was also spotted on the Bluetooth SIG platform as well.
