The Redmi Watch 5 Active India launch is set for August 27th. The brand has yet to reveal if there will be a launch event for the Redmi Watch 5 Active. There’s a dedicated microsite for the new Redmi smartwatch where it has revealed key details.
Redmi Watch 5 Active looks quite like the Redmi Watch 3 Active with its square design and a physical button on the right side. The smartwatch will be available in Black and Silver colours. Redmi will most likely launch more colour options for the straps.

Redmi has revealed key details about the Watch 5 Active. It will offer up to 18 days of battery life. This is an upgrade over the Redmi Watch 3 Active as it offers 12 days battery life. The new Redmi smartwatch has been teased to come with ‘clear+’ calling for voice calls. It will feature a 2.0-inch display, which is bigger than the previous model’s 1.8-inch display.
The Redmi Watch 3 Active offers over 100 fitness modes but the new generation will come with over 140 sports modes. On the software front, the Redmi Watch will run HyperOS making it the first smartwatch to use this OS. The Redmi Watch 5 Active will also come with Alexa built-in.
Like the Redmi Watch 3 Active, the new model is also expected to come with health features such as heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring. The new Redmi smartwatch will most likely offer a plethora of watch faces to choose from.
