The Redmi Note 14 series launch has been officially confirmed after months of leaks and rumours. It’s the popular number series from Redmi and is expected to feature three phones in total. The new Redmi Note 14 phones will succeed last year’s Redmi Note 13 series. Their launch was imminent considering the number of appearances the phones were making on certification sites. The Redmi Note 14 series is expected to launch in India as well.

Redmi announced the launch through its Weibo account. The launch date hasn’t been revealed but we should know very soon. The announcement was made along with a milestone revealed by the brand. The Redmi Note 14 series has been sold for ten years with a total global sales of 420 million units.
Ahead of the launch announcement, Redmi’s General Manager Thomas Wang started teasing the Redmi Note 14 series. Wang confirmed the Redmi Note 14 series will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Last year only the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had an IP68 rating, while the other two models had IP54. But it’s not confirmed if all three models will get the same IP rating.
Without revealing the specifics, Wang also confirmed the Redmi Note 14 series will have strong drop resistance and better battery life.

Redmi Note 14 series: what to expect
- The upcoming Redmi Note 14 series is expected to feature three phones: Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and Note 14 Pro+ 5G.
- The Redmi Note 14 series will most likely feature a 1.5K AMOLED display.
- The vanilla model is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC.
- The Redmi Note 14 series is also expected to house a 50MP primary camera sensor on the back. It’s also rumoured that the Redmi Note 14 phones will feature a redesigned rear camera module.
