Realme recently announced it is splitting the GT Neo series separately into GT and Neo lineups. The first device in the latter is confirmed to be the Realme Neo7. It is set to launch in China next month. Now, the brand has shared some key details of the upcoming offering. These include the battery capacity, durability, and also the pricing.
Realme Neo7 key details revealed
- A teaser poster shared on Weibo reveals that the Realme Neo7 will be powered by a battery capacity of more than 6,500mAh.
- Rumours suggest that the device will be backed by a 7,000mAh battery.
- The upcoming offering is teased to feature an IP rating above IP68. This hints at robust durability thanks to the IP68+IP69 ratings.
- The smartphone is said to score more than 2 million points in AnTuTu’s benchmarking test.
- As per tipster Digital Chat Station, the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ processor.
- The Realme Neo7 is confirmed to have a starting price tag of CNY 2,499 (Rs 34,935 approx).
Realme Neo7: what to expect
- Realme does not reveal any additional details of the Neo7 but we can expect to learn more in the coming days. It was spotted on the 3C certification website supporting 80W fast charging. This is a downgrade compared to the GT Neo6 which maxes out at 120W.
- The rumoured battery capacity and the processor are an upgrade on the upcoming offering.
- The Realme Neo7 is expected to come with a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED display bearing a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The last Neo-branded device to launch in India was the GT Neo 3 in 2022. It remains to be seen if Realme will release any of its Neo phones in the country in the future. Yesterday, the brand unveiled the Realme GT 7 Pro (performance review) in India.
