  • It’s expected to launch with a focus on performance.
  • Realme Neo 7 SE could launch under a different moniker in India.

Realme Neo 7 SE is confirmed to launch with the new MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset. It would be the second phone to feature this chipset after the Redmi Turbo 4. The ‘SE’ model will launch as a new variant to the Realme Neo 7, which debuted in China last month. Realme has yet to confirm if its new smartphone will arrive in other markets including India.

Realme Neo 7 SE launch timeline

  • The Realme Neo 7 SE will launch in China in February (via). However, the launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
  • The launch timeline reveal also confirms the moniker of the device.
  • The Realme Neo 7 SE will succeed the Realme GT Neo 6 SE.
  • This phone was launched as the Realme GT 6T in India so we might see the same rebrand for the GT Neo 7 SE as well.

It’s also worth mentioning that Realme has separated Neo from GT making them two different series. Realme GT Neo 7 was the first phone to launch under this new branding scheme.

The Realme Neo 7 SE is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset. It’s also said to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with stronger heat dissipation, according to the tipster Digital Chat Station. The Realme Neo 7 also packs the same battery capacity. This hints at a performance-focused smartphone for the Realme Neo 7 SE. There are no other details about the upcoming Realme smartphone.

With the launch slated for February, we can expect new details about the Realme Neo 7 SE to be revealed soon. To recall, the Realme GT Neo6 SE launched last year at a starting price of CNY 1,799 (Rs 20,730 approx). We can expect the Realme Neo 7 SE to cost around the same. It would also be cheaper than the Realme Neo 7, which launched at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 24,000) for the base model in China.
