Realme GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite has higher AnTuTu score than Apple A18 Pro: report

Realme GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite has higher AnTuTu score than Apple A18 Pro: report | Tech Tips

Highlights
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite could benefit from its rumoured new Nuvia architecture, Oryon CPUs, and an octa-core setup.
  • It’s not just A18 Pro, Snapdragon 8 Elite’s AnTuTu score is way ahead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s score.
  • AnTutu benchmark runs on different graphics APIs on Android and iOS.

Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to launch in India this month and ahead of its launch, the phone’s AnTuTu benchmark score is seemingly out. We can see the Realme GT 7 Pro AnTuTu score next to an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Interestingly, the Realme phone beat the iPhone. Or should we say, the Snapdragon flagship chip inside the GT 7 Pro has outpaced the Apple A18 Pro? Here, take a look:

Realme GT 7 Pro AnTuTu score (leaked)

  • OnLeaks (in partnership with Smartprix) has shared the AnTuTu score of Realme GT 7 Pro, which is 30,25,991. It is believed to be running a Snapdragon 8 Elite.
  • Besides the phone, we can also see the iPhone 16 Pro Max with an AnTuTu score of 16,51,728. That’s much lower than what the Realme phone appears to have achieved.

Realme GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite AnTuTu score vs A18 Pro

  • A thing to note is that the AnTuTu Android runs on Vulkan graphics API and AnTuTu iOS runs on Metal graphics API. Also, in this case, the Realme GT 7 Pro is running a newer AnTuTu version than the iPhone. Additionally, we are not sure about the test conditions.
  • Still, on the surface, it’s an impressive feat for a Realme flagship to beat the Apple flagship.
  • The soon-to-be-released Snapdragon crown jewel is already known to have beaten the A18 Pro in a leaked Geekbench multi-core score.
  • Another thing (which we already knew from leaks) is that the Snapdragon 8 Elite (or 8 Gen 4) has a clear lead over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The latter could only get about 21,86,467 in our in-house test.

Snapdragon 8 Elite vs A18 Pro: everything else we know

Compared to A18 Pro’s 2+4 hexa-core setup, the Snapdragon 8 Elite could get a 2+6 octa-core setup. It could have a higher 4.37 GHz top clock speed (against A18 Pro’s 4.0 GHz frequency). Qualcomm is believed to be using a newly in-house developed Nuvia architecture and Oryon CPU and just so you know, Nuvia was founded by former Apple engineers, which Qualcomm acquired back in 2021. So, the chip rivalry could get interesting and Android phones like the Realme GT 7 Pro could bask in the glory.
