Realme GT 7 Pro features confirmed: Realme GT Mode 2.0, VC Cooling, 120FPS MOBA gaming | Tech Tips
Realme GT 7 Pro is set to launch in India on November 26th as the country’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. Now, in the leadup to the event, the company has started teasing the phone’s other key features via dedicated microsites on Amazon and Realme.com. So, from its recent posts on X.com, we have learned the phone will ship with Realme GT Mode 2.0-based AI frame upscaling, AI Super Resolution, and VC cooling for an enhanced gaming experience.
Realme GT Mode 2.0 for Realme GT 7 Pro
Realme GT Mode is a toolbox with toggles to improve performance (CPU, GPU, memory), display refresh rate, haptics, app start-up speed, power saving profile, and eye comfort while playing games.
Realme emphasises the use of AI in this mode to dynamically optimise games’ frame rates. This feature is dubbed AI Super Frame. When playing graphics-intensive games, the screen refresh rate increases for smoother visuals, and during less demanding scenes, the refresh rate decreases. The lower refresh rate should reduce system load and, consequently, power consumption.
The company has quoted up to 120FPS gameplay for MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) games on this phone. It hasn’t disclosed the game names though. As for RPG games, Realme claims up to 60 FPS.
And it’s not just the refresh rate, Realme is also teasing AI Super Resolution which is shown to upscale 720P frames to sharper 1.5K resolution.

Realme GT 7 Pro VC Cooling
Besides the GT Mode goodies, there is a vapour chamber cooling system for better heat dissipation. Realme claims this phone has the biggest VC cooling board amongst all Snapdragon 8 Elite phones. This chamber’s size is about 11,480 mm² and is said to transfer around 30 percent heat and enable 400 percent thermal conductivity.
Since the model has been reported to have heating issues and associated throttling troubles, a heat dissipation solution like this should help.
Realme GT 7 Pro gaming benchmark
In our in-house GFXBench test, which measures the frames per second (FPS) achieved by a phone’s GPU in a simulated environment, the Realme GT 7 Pro recorded 60 FPS on both the Manhattan 3.0 and T-Rex tests. However, we cannot confirm if the app is fully compatible with the device or if it is testing the phone’s full potential. In time, we will be testing it out more.
The Snapdragon chip has performed impressively in other synthetic tests. We’ll share a more in-depth analysis in our upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro review, which will follow closely after the launch.
