Realme GT 7 Pro India launch has been officially confirmed. It will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite phone in the country. Snapdragon 8 Elite is the new flagship chipset for smartphones by Qualcomm. More brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, and OPPO will launch phones with this chipset but Realme takes the lead by bringing the first device to India. The Realme GT 7 Pro is also claimed to have the industry’s highest AnTuTu benchmark score surpassing 3 million.
Realme GT 7 Pro India launch
- Realme GT 7 Pro will launch in India in November. The launch date hasn’t been revealed yet but it’s expected to be made official soon. The smartphone is set to debut in China this month.
- It’s also confirmed to feature a periscope telephoto lens and could come with a redesigned camera island.
- The Realme GT 7 Pro India launch comes shortly after we spotted the phone on Geekbench running the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Geekbench listing also confirms Android 15 and 16GB of RAM for the Realme GT 7 Pro.
Realme GT 7 Pro: what to expect
- Realme GT 7 Pro was recently unboxed underwater suggesting it will feature an IP68/69 rating for water resistance.
- It’s also tipped to pack the biggest battery ever on a Realme phone, which could be a 6,500mAh battery. The smartphone could also come with 120W fast charging support.
- The new Realme flagship is expected to house a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens at the back.
- The smartphone is also rumoured to feature Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The GT 7 Pro will be the first true flagship from Realme in India. Earlier this year, the Realme GT 6 and GT 6T launched but these are flagship alternatives although popular choices for high-performing phones. Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to be a popular contender in the flagship smartphone segment.
