Realme 14x India launch date revealed, price teased on Flipkart | Tech Tips

The Realme 14x 5G India launch date has now been officially revealed by the company after teasing it a couple of days ago. This marks the debut of the first Realme 14 series phone in the country. Additionally, the company has also teased the price range of the phone in the country. The Realme 14x comes as a follow-up to the Realme 12x since there was no Realme 13x.

Realme 14x India launch

The Realme 14x 5G will launch in India on December 18th at 12 PM IST. The poster/teaser image shared by the brand says ‘Launch and Sale’ date, which means the handset could be available for purchase on the same day, corroborating with our exclusive. Besides the Realme 14x, the company also teased the Realme 14 Pro series.

As for the price, the Realme 14x 5G price range in India will be under Rs 15,000 and is said to be the first phone in the country with an IP69 water and dust resistance rating in this segment. For context, the Realme 12x launched in India back in April 2024 at a starting price of Rs 11,999 for the base model.

• The microsite on Flipkart and the Realme website confirm the Realme 14x will be available in three colours: red, black, and gold.
• As for design, the phone has dual cameras stacked vertically in a rectangular module on the rear panel. We also see the Realme logo.
• The phone has a boxy chassis with rounded edges for good grip. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge, while the USB Type-C port and speaker vents are housed at the bottom.
• While the listing on Flipkart and the Realme website doesn’t reveal any hardware details yet, 91mobiles exclusively revealed the RAM + storage options and colours of the phone a few weeks ago.
• The Realme 14x is expected to be available in three configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The internal storage should be expandable via a microSD card.
• The handset is said to pack a 6,000mAh battery and a 6.67-inch display. For comparison, the Realme 12x just has a 5000mAh cell and a 6.72-inch screen.
