Yesterday, Realme teased the arrival of the Realme 14 Pro series in India. Now, the brand has confirmed the launch of a new device in the Realme 14 series in the country. The device is the Realme 14x 5G. It seems that the company is skipping the Realme 13x and the upcoming offering will be arriving as the successor to the Realme 12x that debuted earlier in March this year. Realme has put up a microsite of the Realme 14x 5G on its official website revealing its design.
Realme 14x 5G teased to launch soon in India
- The Realme 14x 5G is also confirmed to be available from Flipkart.
- As per the microsite on the brand’s website and the e-commerce platform, the smartphone has a flat frame.
- The power and volume rocker buttons are located on the right side with the former doubling up as a fingerprint scanner.
- The back panel has a gradient pattern that Realme calls diamond-cut design.
- There is a rectangular camera island at the top left corner housing two sensor and an LED flash unit.
- As per the text, the device is confirmed to come with a 50MP primary sensor.
- The Realme 14x 5G will be offered in Gold, Red, and Black colours.
- The microsite says that more details of the upcoming offering will be revealed in the coming days leading up to the launch.
It’s worth noting that the launch date of the Realme 14x 5G has not been revealed yet. We had exclusively reported details including the RAM and storage variants, availability, and more of the smartphone. It will come in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB configurations. The device will reportedly feature an IP69 rating and a 6,000mAh battery unit that have been found on the recent flagship smartphones. The Realme 14x is said to go on sale starting December 18. To recall, its predecessor carries a starting price tag of Rs 10,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant.
