Ahead of the India launch on January 16th, the mid-range Realme 14 Pro+ has silently debuted in the home soil, China. The Glided White (translated) colour of the phone features a unique colour-changing back panel design when the temperature goes below 16 degrees. The new Realme phone ships with an IP69, IP68, and IP66 rating for water and dust resistance, a <3X periscope telephoto, and a large 6000mAh battery. Realme 14 Pro+ price in China

• Realme 14 Pro+ price in China starts at CNY 2,599 (around Rs 30,500) for the variant with 12GB + 256GB. We also get the phone in 12GB + 512GB model.
• The handset is available in Glided White and Sea Rock Gray (translated) colours.
• The Realme phone is already on sale in China.

Realme 14 Pro+ specifications

• Display: The Realme 14 Pro+ sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with 2800 X 1272 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours, 3840Hz PWM Dimming, 1.6mm bezels size, and 1500nits peak brightness.
• Processor: The Realme phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
• Memory: It is available in two configurations: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. 
• OS: The phone boots Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 custom skin out of the box. 
• Cameras: The Realme 14 Pro+ features a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor with MagicGlow Triple Flash system, an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto lens with 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x zoom.
• There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Battery: The Realme phone packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

What’s new on the Realme 14 Pro+?

The Realme 14 Pro+ arrives as a follow-up to the Realme 13 Pro+ from last year. The biggest change/inclusion is the new colour-changing tech, which as the name suggests changes colour from white to blue when the temperature hits below 16 degrees. This tech adds to the aesthetics of the phone, making it a unique offering. In comparison, the Realme 13 Pro+ has a vegan leather and glass back designs.

Moving along, the display size is also bumped from 6.7-inch on the predecessor to a large 6.83-inch screen and we also get curved edges. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC is now replaced with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The 50MP Sony LYT701 is changed to a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor. The periscope telephoto lens is now a 50MP IMX882 sensor compared to a 50MP LYT600.

Another big upgrade is the battery, which is now 6000mAh compared to 5,200mAh on the Realme 13 Pro+. The IP65 rating on the predecessor is now upgraded to a better IP69, IP68, and IP66 rating. 

The Realme 14 Pro+ launches in India on January 16th. It remains to be seen if the specifications will remain similar to the China model or if there will be any changes.
