Realme 14 Pro series first look
- The company says the upcoming Realme 14 Pro series is the world’s first to feature cold-sensitive colour-changing technology.
- This means the temperature-responsive colour-changing technique allows the appearance of the device to shift with changing temperatures.
- Realme partnered with renowned Nordic industrial design studio Valeur Designers for this new technology.
- The company notes the Realme 14 Pro series features industry-first, advanced thermochromic pigments that react to temperature fluctuations.
- When the temperature hits below 16 degrees, the colour of the back shifts from pearl white to vibrant blue and vice-versa.
- The Realme 14 Pro series teaser image shows a large circular camera module with gold accents on the back. This houses triple cameras and multiple LED flash modules, which the company calls “MagicGlow” Triple Flash.
- We see ‘HyperImage, f/1.8 aperture and 120x zoom’ text engraving around the borders of the circular layout.
Hardware
- Besides design, Realme 14 Pro series hardware details are also revealed.
- The lineup is confirmed to feature a quad-curved display with a 93.8 percent screen-to-body rate
- The phones in the series will also be quite slim at sub-8mm in thickness.
- The MagicGlow Triple Flash is claimed to automatically restore natural skin tones in low-light conditions.
- As for durability, the Realme 14 Pro series will get IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings and is claimed to withstand dust and water immersion for up to 1.5 meters for an hour.
- There’s also TUV Rheinland certification for accidental drops and splashes.
- Besides the Pearl White, we exclusively reported the vanilla Realme 14 Pro will be available in the Suede Grey colour option.
