Realme’s number series is one of the popular releases from the brand every year. After about a five-month interval since its predecessor, the Realme 14 Pro series (presumably including the Pro and the Pro+ models) is launching this January. We have covered the duo’s appearance on 3C, Geekbench and other platforms. Now, the company is also creating buzz about the release by teasing key features and highlights of the duo. The new breadcrumbs include the Suede Grey colour, some design and display details. Take a look!

Realme 14 Pro series new colour, design revelations

• As we had exclusively shared already, the Realme 14 Pro series comes in grey (formally called Suede Grey) besides the Pearl White (which shifts to a vibrant blue colour when the phone is under a temperature of 16 degrees Celcius).

• The grey variant is made of vegan leather material and based on the teaser video, offers a textured finish. 
• It is IP66+IP68+IP69 dust and water resistance. The IP69 rating means the device can withstand high-pressure liquids, steam, and dust.
• The vegan leather finish also seems to be hydrophobic, i.e., it repels water.
• The devices are quad-curved on the back. This should allow for a smoother grip.
• The handsets are only 7.55mm thick. Meanwhile, the 13 Pro+ was 8.2 or 8.4mm thick.

Realme 14 Pro series display, battery details

The Realme 14 Pro series sports 1.5k resolution, 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 3,840MHz PWM dimming. It is AMOLED type with 42 degrees “golden” curvature and 1.6mm slim bezels. The Realme 13 Pro+ also had an AMOLED panel with 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution.

Besides the upcoming Pros, the Realme 14x has already launched in India from the 14 series. The 14x has a 6,000mAh battery. That would be a noticeable jump from the 5,000 to 5,200mAh size batteries within the Realme 13 series. Let’s see what the Realme 14 Pro series brings to the table.
