Realme 13+ key specifications confirmed ahead of launch | Tech Tips



Realme 13 5G series is set to debut on August 29th and the lineup will include two models: Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G. These will join the current Realme 13 Pro series. Days after revealing the launch date, Realme has now confirmed some key details of the Realme 13+ 5G, which will be the premium model among the two.


Realme 13+ will bring GT Gaming features

  • Realme 13+ 5G is now confirmed to be the model that will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC.
  • The chipset is built on the advanced 4nm process technology. Compared to the previous models, the chipset is claimed to deliver a 30 percent increase in energy efficiency.
  • Realme says the phone will support 90fps gaming in the Call of Duty Mobile, BGMI, Free Fire, and MLBB.

  • The chipset will be paired with up to 26GB of dynamic RAM.
  • The Realme 13+ 5G is certified to offer a TUV SUD lag-free mobile gaming experience, making it the first in the world and has received an S-level rating for smoothness and performance.
  • The phone features a 6050mm2 vapour cooling area, which is 37 percent larger than previous models.
  • The Realme 13 Series 5G is confirmed to be available for purchase via the Realme website, Flipkart, and offline stores.

Realme says for the first time in the number series, the GT Gaming features make their debut. These include Geek Power Tuning which will adjust CPU and GPU frequencies for peak performance, Quick Startup rapidly resumes games with minimised load times, Dedicated Gaming Memory supports for up to 7 background games and automatic updates, Game Filters to enhance visual effects for clearer gameplay, Voice Changer offers fun voice effects, and Game Focus Mode blocks notifications to keep you immersed.

What do we know about the Realme 13+ 5G?

Realme 13+ 5G Chinese variant that appeared on TENNA has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and there could be a higher screen refresh rate. It remains to be seen whether the global model will have the screen size.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC could be paired with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU for graphics. For context, the predecessor came with the Dimensity 7050 SoC. The chipset could be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage options.


In terms of cameras, the Realme 13+ may have a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. For comparison, the Realme 12+ has a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera layout. We might see a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The Realme 13+ 5G will house a 5000mAh battery and probably 45W charging speed. For comparison, the Realme 12+ has a 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.

In Geekbench, the phone scored 1,043 points in the single-core and 2,925 points in the multi-core test on the platform. This revealed the phone is likely to boot Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box. We should know more details soon.
