Realme 13 5G series India launch date officially revealed | Tech Tips

After confirming the India launch, the Realme 13 5G series now gets an official announcement date. The newest addition to the Realme 13 series will be unveiled on August 29th at 12 PM IST.  The Realme 13 5G series will have a model that will be the first to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC based on the advanced 4nm process technology.

Realme 13 5G series: what to expect

• The Realme 13 5G series could include two models: the Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G. 
• The model powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy is claimed to have scored 750K points in the AnTuTu benchmark application.

• Realme says the chipset delivers a 30 percent increase in energy efficiency.
• The company also confirmed the phones will be available via Flipkart, the Realme website, and offline stores.
• The teaser image shared shows two phones in blue and brown/gold colours. They will have a circular camera module and a brushed design. We have a 3.5mm audio jack and speaker vents on the top.

What do we know about the Realme 13 5G series?

Realme 13+ 5G was recently spotted on the CC, BIS, Geekbench and other platforms. The listings revealed the phone would house a 12.5MP camera (which could be pixel-binned to 50MP) and there’s EIS support. The phone could house a 5000mAh battery on board.

The Realme 13+ 5G China variant has been spotted on the TENAA certification and this suggested the phone would house a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 paired with 6GB RAM. The handset has managed to score 1,043 points in the single-core and 2,925 points in the multi-core test on the platform. A previous leak suggested there would be a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS display and boot Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box.

On the other hand, the Realme 13 5G could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The global variant’s Geekbench listing showed it has scored 784 points in the single-core test and 1,760 in the multi-core test. The chipset could be paired with 8GB of RAM and run Android 14 out of the box. We should learn more details about the phones soon.
