Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 13 series smartphone in India. The company has shared a teaser of the lineup’s India debut from its official social media handles. Realme 13 5G series will likely include at least two models: the vanilla Realme 13 5G and the Realme 13+ 5G. Let’s check out what we know about the Realme 13 series’ India launch so far.

Realme has teased the imminent India launch of the Realme 13 5G series smartphones with the tagline “Speed Has a New Number”. Besides this, a microsite for the upcoming Realme phones is now available on Flipkart, in addition to the Realme India website, confirming their online availability.

The teasers indicate that Realme will ship the devices with a powerful chipset, faster RAM, and charging technology. Realme also reveals that the chipsets in both phones will be more powerful than the Turbo MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.
Realme 13 5G series: what we know so far
The Realme 13+ 5G China variant visited the TENAA certification website, with an octa-core SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.5 GHz. Rumour mill suggests that this SoC could be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. However, there is no official confirmation of the chipset from the company.
Moreover, the Geekbench, BIS, FCC, and other listings of the Realme 13+ 5G also revealed some key specifications of the device. The device will feature a 12.5MP camera with EIS, which most likely will be marketed as a higher megapixel count with pixel-binning. Powering the device will be a 5,000mAh battery.
The Geekbench listing of the Realme 13+ 5G revealed that it will feature at least 6GB RAM and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It scored 1,043 points in the single-core and 2,925 points in the multi-core test on the platform.
While not much is known about the vanilla model, a previous leak revealed that the device will feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel, a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP secondary snapper, a 16MP selfie shooter, and run on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out of the box.
