Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition is a new phone series from the Note 40 lineup to celebrate the company’s 7th anniversary. There is a limited edition of Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+ with F1 Racing-inspired design elements. The phones are going on sale today in India, and so, let’s check out their prices, specs, and arguments for whether you should buy them or not.
Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition price, sale details
Infinix India has launched the Note 40 Racing Edition in two models:
- Infinix Note 40 Pro model for Rs 15,999 (8+256GB)
- Infinix Note 40 Pro+ model for Rs 18,999 (12+256GB)
Both prices are inclusive of bank offers. You can buy them today from Flipkart. The sale is likely to start at 12PM.

Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition design
Infinix has partnered with Design Works, a BMW Group company to design this phone. The design includes:
- The rear surface has a glossy finish, made with PC+PMMA (organic glass) materials and a UV transfer printing process.
- You can see “silk-screened mirror-faced silver logos” on the back.
- The rear camera panel setup appears similar to the Note 40 Pro+ but there is a BMW tricolour insignia.
- On the front, the wallpaper, UI and icons are custom-themed to match the special edition feel. The aesthetics extend to the box and other inbox contents too.
Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition specifications
Both phones are running on a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor like their regular edition models. In fact, the Racing edition phones ship with the same hardware as the regular Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+. This includes a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 108+2+2MP triple rear camera setup, a 32MP front camera, JBL-tuned dual speaker setup, 5,000mAh+ 45W battery and charging combination on the Pro model and a 4,600mAh+ 100W battery and charging configuration on the Pro+ model.
Should you buy Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition?
The regular Infinix Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+ can be grabbed for Rs 18,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively on Flipkart after a Rs 3,000 bank offer.
So, the special edition phones are available for a lower price thanks to the launch offers. If you buy them during the sale, you can avail of the introductory pricing benefits. The phones also offer a refreshing and unique design and UI, snappy charging speeds, a good display, and an agreeable rest of the phone.
However, if the design is a priority, you can also check out the CMF Phone 1 for around Rs 17,000 price. Its Dimensity 7300 processor has a higher AnTuTu score, indicative of better performance. You can also check out other best phones under Rs 20,000.
