Should you buy the Vivo V40 Pro?

The Vivo V40 Pro can be considered a flagship alternative but it’s still an expensive phone with a price tag of Rs 49,999. In our review, we found the Vivo V40 Pro offered a fast and smooth performance and it has impressive Zeiss-backed cameras. The smartphone also offers a good battery life and Vivo improved by upgrading the water and dust resistance with an IP68 rating.

The V40 Pro’s pricing could deter potential buyers, especially when you have phones like the Realme GT 6 and Xiaomi 14 Civi available at a cheaper price point. That said, the Vivo V40 Pro offers a complete package that includes a big and bright display, sturdy and light design, impressive performance, terrific ZEISS-backed cameras, and a dependable battery life.

The new Vivo smartphone even outperformed rivals like the Xiaomi 14 Civi and Realme GT 6 in our benchmark tests with better scores. So overall, the Vivo V40 Pro impresses in all key areas. The only drawback here is the price, which is higher than its rivals. So while you will get your money’s worth with the Vivo V40 Pro you should also consider more affordable options that offer a similar experience.
