Possible Realme Neo 7 SE receives 3C certification, charging speed revealed ahead of launch | Tech Tips
Realme Neo 7 launched in China last month and the device is expected to launch in India soon alongside some audio products. The brand is likely to launch a more affordable variant of this device which might be named Realme Neo 7 SE. According to previous leaks, it is going to be among the first smartphones to launch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 SoC. Now, the device has possibly received 3C certification which reveals its fast charging speed.
Realme Neo 7 SE 3C certification: charging speed
- A Realme device with the model number RMX5080, which is expected to be the Realme Neo 7 SE, has received 3C certification (via) suggesting that the China launch is at hand.
- The 3C listing reveals that the device will support the VCB8OACH power adapter which features 80W fast charging.
- This same device had received the MIIT certification a few days ago which revealed the smartphone’s design and its 6,850mAh battery capacity which could be advertised at 7,000mAh (typical) at launch.
- These are the same battery and charging specifications as the Realme Neo 7 launched in China.
Realme Neo 7 SE: what we know so far
- Display: The Realme Neo 7 SE is expected to feature a 1.5K resolution OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, as per reports.
- Processor: At the core, the Realme Neo 7 SE might be one of the first phones to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultra SoC.
- Storage: It may come with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
- Camera: For optics, the smartphone might house a 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. At the front, the device will most likely feature a 16MP selfie camera.
- Software: The Realme Neo 7 SE will mostly run on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
The Realme Neo 7 SE is going to be the successor to the Realme Neo 6 SE which launched in April 2024 at a starting price of CNY 1,799 (around Rs 21,000). We can expect the device to launch in the same price segment in China.
Also, the Realme Neo 6 SE was rebranded as the Realme GT 6T and launched in India at Rs 30,999 with bank offers. There are chances that the brand might rebrand the Realme Neo 7 SE as the Realme GT 7T and launch it in the same price segment in India.
