Highlights
  • Alleged POCO F7 Ultra FCC listing reveals the RAM/storage options.
  • POCO F7 Ultra could be the first ‘Ultra’ branded flagship from the company.

POCO seems to be silently readying its next batch of F-series phones, the POCO F7 for global markets. We recently spotted the vanilla model receiving the BIS approval, hinting at an imminent launch in India, while the alleged Ultra model was spotted on Singapore’s IMDA platform. Now, in the latest development, the possible POCO F7 Ultra has secured the FCC certification, revealing some hardware details.

POCO F-series is the brand’s premium lineup meant for global markets and offers models that are considered value for money.

POCO F7 Ultra spotted on FCC

  • The FCC listing, as spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia, shows the model number ‘24122RKC7G’ and while the certification doesn’t explicitly reveal the marketing name, it is believed to be the POCO F7 Ultra.
  • However, the phone (24122RKC7G) was earlier believed to be the vanilla POCO F7, based on the IMDA certification.

  • The FCC certification shows the possible POCO F7 Ultra will be available in three configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB
  • The listing shows the phone will boot HyperOS 2 custom skin, which could be based on Android 15 OS.
  • Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth BR/EDR/LE, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7.
  • One of the FCC images shows Xiaomi’s statement that says the “support for LTE band40/ 5G NR N40, but will be disabled by software and are not available for the United States region.”

The report notes the alleged POCO F7 Ultra (if that is indeed what it will be called) could be a rebrand of the Redmi K80 Pro for global markets. The Redmi phone recently launched in China and ships with the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset, a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, a 6000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Redmi K80 Pro price in China starts at CNY 3,699 (approx Rs 43,200) and goes up to CNY 4,999. (around Rs 58,400) for the Champion Edition.

Even though POCO introduced POCO F6 and F6 Pro earlier this year, only the vanilla POCO F6 made it to India. It remains to be seen if the brand will have a change of plans this time around.
