Possible OPPO Pad 3 appears on Geekbench ahead of launch | Tech Tips
OPPO is gearing up to unveil the Reno 13 series in China on November 25th. The lineup will come as a successor to the Reno 12 lineup and is expected to bring some notable upgrades if leaks and rumours are to be believed. Amidst this, a new OPPO device has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform, as spotted by 91mobiles.
Possible OPPO Pad 3 appears online
- The Geekbench listing only reveals the model number ‘OPPO OPD2405’. There are chances that it might be a tablet offering, possibly the upcoming OPPO Pad 3 but can’t be said for certain.
- The listing suggests the device has managed to score 1261 in the single-core round and 3993 in the multi-core segment.
- The alleged OPPO Pad 3 may boot Android 15 OS and pack 11.41GB RAM (will be marketed as 12GB).
- The octa-core chipset has 4 cores clocked at 2.20GHz, three cores at 3.20GHz, and a single core at 3.35GHz. The GPU could be Mali-G615 MC6.
- The motherboard section mentions: K6897v1_64, which could be the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 but the clock speed of the middle cores is slightly higher (compared to 3GHz of the Dimensity 8300). There are chances it could be the speculated Dimensity 8350 chipset.
- Alleged OPPO Reno 13 Pro with the same chipset appeared on Geekbench earlier this week. It managed to score 1538 in the single-core round and 4697 in the multi-core segment.
The OPPO Pad 3 colour and RAM/storage options are already revealed through the official listing on the official website. The tablet will be available in Glowing Purple, Night Blue, and Star Trial Bright Silver (translated) colours. It will be offered in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB RAM and storage options, as per the listing. The tablet will feature a 2.8K display, 700nits brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate. There will be stylus input support as well.
It isn’t clear whether the OPPO Pad 3 will be launched in India considering the company currently has only the OPPO Pad Air listed on the official website in the country.
