The mid-range POCO X7 series will be officially launched in India and globally later today. The lineup will include two models: the vanilla POCO X7 and the POCO X7 Pro and these succeed the POCO X6 lineup. The company has teased quite a few details about the phones like cameras, battery, and much more. Before the launch, here’s how you can catch the live streaming of the event along with the expected price and more.

POCO X7 and X7 Pro India launch: how to watch live stream

The POCO X7 series India launch event will be live-streamed on the company’s YouTube channel. The event will kick off at 5:30 PM IST and we have embedded the link for you to watch.

POCO X7 series price in India (expected)

While the exact price details of the POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro aren’t out yet the teaser images shared by the brand suggest the Pro model may be priced under Rs 30,000. Tipster Yogesh Brar claims the price could be between Rs 25,000 and Rs 27,000 for the base model. For comparison, the POCO X6 launched at a starting price of Rs 26,999 for the base model. 

On the other hand, the standard POCO X7 could be available between Rs 20,000 and Rs 22,000 for the base version. The POCO X6 was launched at Rs 21,999. Both phones will be available via Flipkart post-launch.

POCO X7 series specifications (expected)

• Display: The POCO X7 5G is confirmed to feature a 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with 3000nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 480Hz touch sampling rate, in-display fingerprint sensor, 1920Hz PWM Dimming, Wet Touch 2.0, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 layer.
• Meanwhile, the POCO X7 Pro may house a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
• IP rating: The POCO X7 is confirmed to feature an IP66+IP68+IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
• Processor: The POCO X7 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC, while the X7 Pro will ship with the Dimensity 8400-Ultra.
• Cameras: The vanilla model is confirmed to feature a 50MP Sony LYT600 main camera with OIS+EIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It will have a 20MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. POCO X7 Pro may also house a similar setup but possibly with different sensors.
• Battery: The POCO X7 Pro is confirmed to pack a 6,550mAh battery and may get 90W fast charging support. The vanilla variant is expected to house a 5,110mAh cell.
• OS: The POCO X7 Pro is confirmed to boot HyperOS 2.0 in India.
