POCO X7 series India launch date announced, Flipkart availability confirmed | Tech Tips

POCO has officially announced the launch date of the POCO X7 series in India. It is set to debut next week in the country. The Xiaomi sub-brand has not explicitly revealed the devices in the lineup. The upcoming offerings are confirmed to be available from Flipkart. They will be arriving as the successor to the POCO X6 lineup that debuted earlier this year. The X7 and X7 Pro have already surfaced in recent leaks and rumors including our exclusive report revealing the design, colour options, and configurations. 

POCO X7 series to arrive next week in India

• The POCO X7 series is scheduled to launch in India on January 9, Thursday at 5:30 pm local time. 
• The Xiaomi sub-brand is teasing the upcoming offering with a tagline ‘Xceed Limits’. A post shared by POCO India’s country head also mentions innovation like never before. 
• This suggests that the POCO X7 series could come with fast performance and new features.

• The lineup is expected to comprise of the X7 and X7 Pro as the successors to the X6 and X6 Pro 5G respectively. 
• It won’t include the POCO X7 Neo 5G as confirmed by Himanshu Tandon in reply to a tweet on X. 
• POCO is expected to tease details of the upcoming X7 series in the days leading up to the launch event. 

The POCO X6 and X6 Pro 5G were launched in India in January 2024 at a starting price tag of Rs 21,999 and Rs 26,999 respectively. As per reports, the POCO X7 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G that starts at Rs 24,999. Meanwhile, the X7 Pro will reportedly be a rebadged version of the Redmi Turbo 4 that is launching in China on January 2. Per our exclusive report, both the upcoming offerings are tipped to come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants with the pro model getting an additional 12GB + 256GB configuration.
