POCO X7 Neo Indian variant appears on Geekbench with key specifications | Tech Tips
POCO is gearing up to launch the M7 Pro 5G and C75 5G smartphones in India next week. The Xiaomi sub-brand also seems to be working on X-series phones. Yesterday, we shared the Geekbench listing of the POCO X7’s global variant. Now, the X7 Neo has also surfaced on the benchmarking database revealing its key details. The device will be arriving as the successor to the X6 Neo that was announced earlier in March this year.
POCO X7 Neo key details surface
- The POCO X7 Neo is listed (via) with the model number 2409FPCC4I on Geekbench.
- The ‘I’ in the model number refers to the Indian variant.
- The benchmarking platform mentions motherboard codenamed ‘beryl’ and it comprises of six cores clocked at 2GHz and two cores ticking at 2.5GHz.
- This suggests that the device could be equipped with a Dimensity 7025 or 7025 Ultra processor.
- The smartphone is listed with 6GB RAM and we can expect more options at launch.
- Software-wise, it will ship with Android 14 OS out of the box.
- In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the POCO X7 Neo scores 943 and 2,247 points respectively.
- To recall, its predecessor powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 scored 759 and 1,941 points in the same tests respectively.
The rest of the details of the POCO X7 Neo remain scarce at the moment. Its predecessor i.e. the POCO X6 Neo debuted as a slightly tweaked version of the Redmi Note 13 at a much cheaper price tag. It’s likely that the upcoming offering would also share the same specifications and features from the recently launched Redmi Note 14 (performance review) in India.
The Redmi Note 14 comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,100 nits peak brightness. It is equipped with Dimensity 7050 Ultra SoC coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device has a 50MP main OIS camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and 2MP macro lenses. It iss backed by a 5,110mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
