POCO global website discontinued, smartphones now available on Xiaomi website | Tech Tips

The POCO X7 series is launching in India next week. As the brand gears up for the release of the new POCO phones, it has also started shifting its product portfolio to Xiaomi’s website. POCO had announced last October that its official website will be discontinued and moved to Xiaomi. POCO websites in several global regions have been discontinued and a new dedicated section has been created on the Xiaomi website. 

POCO website discontinued

• The POCO global website including regional markets in Europe aren’t working anymore. 
• While the sites are still accessible, there’s no new information and the POCO Store is also not available anymore. 
• The POCO India website is still accessible with all the recently launched products. 
• There’s a dedicated section for POCO products on the Xiaomi global website but there isn’t one on the India website yet. 
• When the announcement was made, it was for the POCO global website so it’s not clear if the Indian market is part of the change or not. 

Separately in India, POCO is planning to enter the offline market after staying online-exclusive for since its debut. POCO phones were sold exclusively through Flipkart and later Amazon. Now, POCO plans to start selling its phones in offline retail stores this year. This move is aimed at helping POCO increase its sales in India. With Xiaomi already having a strong offline presence across India, this could help ease POCO’s offline market entry. 

POCO is currently gearing up to launch the X7 series in India on January 9th. It has been confirmed that the POCO X7 Pro will be the first phone in India to launch with HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15) out of the box. The smartphone is also confirmed to go on sale exclusively via Flipkart. There will be two phones in the series: POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro.
