POCO F7 specifications tipped ahead of launch: Snapdragon 8s Elite, 7,000mAh battery, and more | Tech Tips

POCO F7 series has been in the rumour mill for quite some time and the lineup is expected to include a total of three models: the POCO F7, POCO F7 Pro, and a new POCO F7 Ultra. Leaks claim the former will be a rebrand of the alleged Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, while the latter two could be rebranded Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. Before the announcement, the POCO F7 key specifications have now leaked online. Here’s everything you need to know.

Snapdragon 8s Elite could debut soon

• Going into details, tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo talks about the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, which is yet to be announced and should arrive as a slightly underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
• He says that current data indicates that the chipset is more powerful than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and slightly less powerful than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

• The tipster adds that the first wave of phones with the chipset will hit the market in April 2025.
• DCS further claims that phones with 7,000mAh battery and above are coming also soon.
• While the tipster hasn’t mentioned any explicit name of the phone, X user Sanju Choudhary says POCO F7 could be one of the devices with the said hardware.
• He further notes the POCO F7 will ship with a 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset and a large 7000mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
• Since DCS says phones with the new Snapdragon chipset will be out in April 2025, POCO F7 could also be debuting around the same timeline.
• There are chances the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra might debut before that.

The possible POCO F7 already bagged the BIS certification, hinting that the India launch is on the cards. The handset bears the model number 2412DPC0AI. The same phone was earlier spotted on the GSMA database and confirmed the marketing name. Singapore’s IMDA listing revealed 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity options.

POCO F6 launched in India back in May this year at a starting price of Rs 29,999. There are chances the successor might also arrive around the same time in 2025 with a similar price tag.
