OxygenOS 15 closed beta announced
- As a part of the beta program, users need to join a Telegram group for communication with the OnePlus team and other testers.
- Participants in the Nord CE 4 (via) and Nord CE 4 Lite (via) programs must be active OnePlus Community members and use the Feedback App to report issues.
- To report issues, testers of the beta build need to use the code *#800# in the Google Dialer to access the reporting system.
- Users can apply through their devices’ settings menu. After approval, the beta software can be downloaded through the system update menu.
- However, reports indicate that while some users have received approval notifications for the beta program, they haven’t received the update on their devices.
- It looks like the company hasn’t provided a specific timeline for when approved users will receive the beta software.
Customers interested in OxygenOS 15 beta testing need to be on CPH2613_14.0.1.708 (EX01) or CPH2613_14.0.1.707 (EX01) versions for the Nord CE 4. On the other hand, the Nord CE 4 Lite users need to be on CPH2619_14.0.1.900 (EX01) or CPH2619_14.0.1.910 (EX01) builds.
To ensure a smooth upgrade, OnePlus says it will push a new OxygenOS 14 (CPH2613_11.A.39_0390_202410301800) update to the Nord CE 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite (CPH2619_11.A.35_0350_202411010008). The company notes that you will not be able to receive the OxygenOS 15 beta version if you do not update to the said OxygenOS 14 build.
As said, this is a closed OxygenOS 15 beta, which means it may not be suitable for daily use and there could be multiple crashes. The open beta of the OxygenOS 15 might start after a few weeks.
