OPPO Reno 13 series price in India tipped before launch | Tech Tips

OPPO Reno 13 series is set to launch in India on January 9th. The phones originally debuted in China back in November and include two models: the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro. The phones are already listed on Flipkart, confirming their online availability. Before the launch, the price details of the OPPO Reno 13 series are now tipped.

OPPO Reno 13 series price (leaked)

• The OPPO Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro prices in India have leaked on X (formerly Twitter), courtesy of a user ‘AN Leaks’.
• As per him, the OPPO Reno 13 will cost Rs 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB and Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/256GB storage. 
• On the other hand, the Reno 13 Pro is tipped to cost Rs 49,999 for the 12GB/256GB and Rs 54,999 for the 12GB/512GB version.

• If the leaked prices are indeed accurate, the Reno 13 series will be more expensive than the Reno 12 lineup, possibly because of the upgrades and improvements. 
• For comparison, the Reno 12 was launched at Rs 32,999 for the 8GB/256GB. The Reno 12 Pro from last year costs Rs 36,999 for the 12GB/256GB and Rs 40,999 for the 12GB/512GB model.

OPPO Reno 13 series: what’s on offer?

The OPPO Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro will also be available via the OPPO e-store besides Flipkart. The listing confirms the phones will have a boxy chassis with rounded edges, a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for selfies and narrow bezels. There is a square module on the back panel to house the rear cameras and the LED flash. The microsite reveals the OPPO Reno 13 series specifications.

• Processor: The OPPO Reno 13 series is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset compared to the Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC on the Reno 12 lineup.
• Display: The phones will feature an FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours, and HDR10+ certification.
• OS: The Reno 13 models will boost ColorOS 15 custom skin out of the box.
• Battery: The vanilla Reno 13 is confirmed to pack a 5,600mAh battery, while the Pro model wil get a 5,800mAh cell. There will be 80W fast charging support. This is a sizeable jump from the 5000mAh capacity on the Reno 12 series.
• Cameras: The OPPO Reno 13 Pro will be equipped with a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera. There will be a 50MP selfie camera on the front.
• There will be a new OPPO SignalBoost X1 chipset for enhanced network support and dual stereo speakers and O-Haptics. Both phones will get an IP68+IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
• The phones will be bundled with some AI features like AI Livephoto, AI Unblur, Ai HyperBoost and AI Reflection Remover.
• The Reno 13 series is claimed to feature the segment’s first aerospace-grade aluminium frame for durability.
• Colours: The OPPO Reno 13 will be available in Luminous Blue and Ivory White colours, while the Reno 13 Pro comes in Graphite Grey and Mist Lavender.
