OPPO Reno 13 series launching in India on January 9th, key specs and Flipkart availability confirmed | Tech Tips

OPPO has offiicially announced the launch date of the Reno 13 series in India. The brand had previously teased the upcoming offerings revealing their design and colour options. The lineup is confirmed to include the Reno 13 5G and Reno 13 Pro 5G. They will be arriving as the successors to the last year’s Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. The Reno 13 series debuted in China in November and the Indian variants seem to come with the same specifications.

• The OPPO Reno 13 series is confirmed to launch in India on January 9, Thursday at 5pm. 
• The smartphones are confirmed to be available from Flipkart and OPPO’s official website. 

OPPO Reno 13 series key details confirmed

• The microsite on the brand’s official website also reveals additional details of the Reno 13 series. 
• The upcoming smartphones are confirmed to come with various photography features. 
• These include AI Livephoto which seems to be similar to the Live photo feature on iPhones. 
• AI Unblur will restore the clarity and sharpness of the image caused by camera shake. Meanwhile, the devices will also come with AI Reflection Remover for removing any reflections from pictures. 
• The Reno 13 series is also teased to come with underwater photography mode with its IP68 and IP69 ratings. It’s likely that this will be on both the standard and pro models as found on the Chinese variants. 
• The Reno 13 5G and Reno 13 Pro 5G are confirmed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor with AI features. 
• The microsite reveals 12GB RAM and 512GB storage but we can expect more configurations at launch.

• The devices will also come a self-developed SignalBoost Chip X1 for an enhanced network. 
• The microsite also mentions a 3.5x telephoto super zoom camera with up to 120x digital zoom. This is expected to be limited to the Reno 13 Pro 5G. 

As per the previous teasers, the Reno 13 5G will be available in Ivory White and Luminous Blue colours with the later having a glowing effect around the camera island. The Reno 13 Pro 5G is confirmed to arrive in Graphite Grey and Mist Lavender shades. Both phones are confirmed to boast an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and a Gorilla Glass 7i shielding the front OLED panel. 

To recall, the OPPO Reno 12 series was launched at a starting price tag of Rs 32,999.
