The OPPO Reno 13 series will be announced in China on November 25. It is expected to comprise two phones including the standard and pro models. The design of the upcoming phones has already been teased. Now, OPPO has shared new information about the Reno 13 series on its Weibo handle. These pertain to the smartphone’s processor, OS, and brightness. The Reno 13 series will be arriving as the successor to the Reno 12 series that debuted earlier this year.
OPPO Reno 13 series key details teased
- The OPPO Reno 13 series is confirmed to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor.
- It remains to be seen if the standard and pro models will be equipped with the same chipset.
- The brand claims that the SoC offers 1.5 times faster performance compared to older models.
- In a separate teaser, the OPPO Reno 13 series is confirmed to feature a 1.5K display resolution along with eye protection technology.
- The standard model has a flat screen whereas the pro variant packs a curved display.
- Both will come with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout and thin bezels on all four sides.
- Software-wise, the Reno 13 series will ship with ColorOS 15-based Android 15 OS out of the box.
- OPPO also says that the battery cell will offer a reliable performance for up to five years. However, the exact battery capacity has not been revealed yet.
The OPPO Reno 13 is already confirmed to flaunt a squarish camera island on the back panel housing three sensors. It will be available in a Buttery Purple colour with a gradient pattern. The upcoming offerings will also be offered in Midnight Black, Galaxy Blue, and Starlight Pink shades. The Reno 13 duo is already up for pre-orders in China. They will be available in multiple configurations up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
