OPPO Reno 13 series China launch date revealed, alleged Geekbench score out | Tech Tips
The launch date of the OPPO Reno 13 has been officially revealed. It is scheduled for November, just like the Reno 11 series. OPPO tends to launch its new Reno series every six months. Well, now that the new phone’s around the corner, let’s see what new OPPO has developed for the latest generation.
OPPO Reno 13 launch in China
OPPO Reno 13 will launch in China on November 25th at 7:00 PM CST (4:30 PM IST). The company revealed this via its Weibo channel along with the new phone’s colour, design, and other details. We also learn that Chinese songwriter and singer Song Yu Qi will be performing at the launch event. It’s her flaunting the Diedie purple variant of the Reno 13.
Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno 13 series could land in India in January 2025.
Expected OPPO Reno 13 India, global processor and pricing
- Processor: OPPO Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro could arrive in China with Dimensity 8350 SoC, and in India and globally, the phone duo could ship with a Dimensity 8300 chip. Tipsters @chunvn8888 and @Sudhanshu1414 have claimed this chip information.
The Reno 12 Pro comes with a Dimensity 7300 Energy. The Dimensity 8300 is a notable upgrade over its predecessor. Both are 4nm processors but the 8300 runs faster (at 3.4GHz) and has a more advanced Arm V9A instruction set. Even its Mali-G615 MP6 GPU has more bandwidth and runs faster at 1.4GHz. There are newer MediaTek APU 780 for AI tasks, faster LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage support, and other improvements.
- Global, India Pricing: While responding to a fan, Sudhanshu Ambhore said the phone will be priced similarly to the Reno 12.
Alleged Oppo Reno 13 Pro Geekbench appearance
An OPPO phone with model number model number PKK110 believed to be the Reno 13 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench. The global variant could carry the model number: CPH2697.
The phone has scored 1538 in the single-core test and 4697 in the multi-core test.
The processor in question seems like the Dimensity 8300 SoC. There is a slight possibility that the Dimensity 8350 SoC could be similar to the 8300 with some ancillary enhancements.
