OPPO K12 Plus specifications revealed through TENAA certification | Tech Tips

OPPO K12 Plus is in the works as a new entrant in the already existing K12 lineup. Recently, the specifications of the phone have been tipped to include a large 6,400mAh battery and a Snapdragon processor. While the launch date is yet to be revealed, the phone has been spotted on the TENAA regulatory listing in China. The listing reiterates some of the leaked specifications.

• The TENAA listing reveals some key specifications of the OPPO K12 Plus, including display, cameras, dimensions and others. 
• Display: The phone will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2412 X 1080 pixels resolution. This is the same screen size as the regular OPPO K12.
• Processor: While the TENAA listing doesn’t reveal the chipset details explicitly, it is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset.

• RAM/Storage: The chipset could be paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. 
• Dimensions: The listing shows the phone will measure 162.47 X 75.33 X 8.37 and weigh 193 grams.
• Battery: The OPPO phone might house a 6,220mAh rated (6,400mAh typical) battery but the fast charging details are not revealed. In comparison, the OPPO K12 only has a 5,500mAh cell. 
• Connectivity: The OPPO K12 Plus will have 5G network support. 
• Cameras: The OPPO phone might feature a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary lens. There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies. This is the same combination used on the OPPO K12.

While the TENAA listing doesn’t reveal any launch date, it is a good indication to suggest that we are nearing the launch. It isn’t clear at the moment whether OPPO K12 Plus will be heading to markets like India. For the record, the OPPO K12x has been launched and is currently available in the country in the under Rs 15,000 segment.
