While the company hasn’t revealed the launch date of the series, the vanilla variant has appeared on the BIS certification site, which hints at an India launch. the OPPO Find X8 Pro is already reported to come to India. 

Alongside that, the smartphone has also been spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification. The company has revealed some of its software features and wireless charging details. The OPPO Find X8 series will succeed the Find X7 series.

The upcoming OPPO Find X8 has surfaced on the BIS and SDPPI certification websites, spotted by TheTechOutlook, with the CPH2651 model number. While these details hint at the phone’s launch in India and Indonesia, they do not reveal any features or specifications.

OPPO Find X8 software features, wireless charging details

Through Weibo, a company official has shared details regarding two key security features of the yet-to-be-launched OPPO Find X8. The first one is an IR blaster, and the other is an NFC smart card cutting.

Notably, according to the official, the IR blaster feature will help users control appliances with their smartphones through infrared signals. On the other hand, the NFC smart card cutting will allow them to access their NFC-enabled cards seamlessly.

The company official mentions that the feature enhances user experience by switching between multiple NFC-enabled access cards based on location. Additionally, he revealed that the OPPO Find X8 will pack 50W wireless charging and reverse charging.

OPPO Find X8 specifications: what to expect

• Display: The upcoming OPPO Find X8 might boast a 6.5-inch flat display, a bit smaller than the Find X7, with a 1.5K+ resolution for an impressive display.
• Chipset: The OPPO Find X8 is anticipated to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which will also be equipped in the Pro variant.
• RAM: As per the Gekbench listing, the OPPO Find X8 might offer up to 16GB RAM.
• Cameras: The Find X8 will likely boast three 50MP sensors on the rear panel. This upcoming phone is expected to pack a 32MP front camera.
• Battery, charging: The yet-to-be-launched is said to come with an upgraded battery compared to the OPPO Find X7, which features a 5,000mAh battery. On the charging front, it is said to pack 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
