OPPO Find X8, Find X8 Pro design, battery details revealed ahead of India launch | Tech Tips

The OPPO Find X8 series India launch is scheduled for next week. The flagship Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are both arriving here and in other markets. Ahead of the launch, OPPO has been teasing the two phones revealing key details about them. The OPPO Find X8 series has already launched in China so we know what they offer but the new teasers help us understand if there are any changes with the Chinese variants. 

OPPO Find X8 series design, display, and build

• The OPPO Find X8 series looks different from the previous generation with its flat display and edges. The new smartphones feature an ‘Infinite View Display’ with almost no bezels. 
• OPPO retains the circular camera module with a ‘Cosmos Ring Camera Design’ housing two telephoto cameras in the Find X8 Pro. 
• The Find X8 series comes with Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front and back along with ‘Armour Shield Design’ for durability. The two phones are also IP68/69 rated, which is the highest protection from dust and water for smartphones. 
• The Find X8 has a 5,910mAh battery, while the Find X8 Pro comes with a 5,910mAh cell. The two phones feature ‘Silicon Carbide battery technology’, which is said to offer higher energy density with a smaller battery size. 
• The OPPO Find X8 series will be available in Pearl White and Space Black colours. It looks like the Blue and Pink colours won’t come to India.

OPPO Find X8 series: pre-reservations in India

OPPO is selling a Pre-Reserve Pass for the Find X8 series, which is priced at Rs 999. With this pass, the Find X8 buyers will get an OPPO gift box worth Rs 13,847. Those interested can head to Flipkart to purchase the pass. It’s valid until January 3rd or until stocks last.

It’s worth mentioning that this is a comeback for the OPPO Find X8 series in India as only the Find X and Find X2 have been launched here.
