The OPPO Find N2 Flip (review) launched way back in 2022. It shipped with pre-installed Android 13 OS out of the box and since last March, the device is running on Android 14. The clamshell flip phone is eligible for 4 major updates. Now, the Find N2 Flip users in India are receiving stable version of the latest ColorOS 15 based Android 15 update. However, this is only for those who had applied for the software version’s release candidate program. The update brings various new features and improvements. 

OPPO is seeding Android 15 update to the Find N2 Flip in India

  • OPPO shared the announcement on its official community forum about rolling out ColorOS 15 based Android 15 update to the Find N2 Flip. 
  • At the moment, this is only for the Indian market and the update is expected to reach more units in other regions. 
  • Find N2 Flip users who had joined the release candidate program can now access the latest update immediately which is a week ahead of schedule for other users. 
  • A wider OTA rollout of the stable ColorOS 15 update will be released from January 15
  • It is expected to reach all units in 1-2 week’s time. 
  • As per the brand, the Find N2 Flip must be running on a detectable version of CPH2437_14.0.0.570(EX01).

  • To install the newest version, users need to head to Settings > About Device > Tap icon on top right > Trial versions > Official Versions > Apply Now. Then select Detect the update > Download now
  • OPPO cautions users to perform a backup of their data before updating to ColorOS 15 based Android 15. 
  • The update may cause heating, lagging, and faster battery drain for a few days after which the phone should return to normal. 
  • Additionally, some third-party apps may also face compatibility and technical issues.
