OPPO F27 5G price in India and specifications have been revealed as the phone is officially launched in the country. It is the new F-series offering from the brand and is placed in the mid-range segment. The handset comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 50MP primary camera, and 45W fast charging support. • OPPO F27 price in India is Rs 22,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB/256GB version.

OPPO F27 specifications, features

The OPPO F27 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 394 PPI, and AGC-DT Star 2 glass for protection. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with Mali G57 MP2 GPU.

The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM + 8GB extended RAM and 128GB/ 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 14-based ColorOS 14 custom skin out of the box. 

In terms of cameras, the OPPO F27 packs a 50MP Omnivision OV50D primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2MP Omnivision OV02B1B portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture and Halo Light. There is a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie snapper on the front.

The OPPO 27 packs a 5000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging support. OPPO says the phone comes with an Armour body with a high-strength alloy framework, an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, 300 percent ultra volume mode, and a 50-month fluency certification. Connectivity options include 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, and GPS.

What’s new on the OPPO F27?

OPPO F27 comes as a follow-up to the OPPO 25 Pro from earlier this year and joins the OPPO F27 Pro+, which is already sold in India. The OPPO F27 has almost the same screen size as the OPPO F25 Pro and the OPPO F27 Pro+: 6.67-inch. The resolution and the refresh rate are also the same at FHD+ and 120Hz.

The Dimensity 7050 chipset on the F25 Pro and F27 Pro+ is replaced by the Dimensity 6300 SoC. The 5,000mAh cell is common on all three models (OPPO F27, F27 Pro+, and F25 Pro). However, the latter two get 67W fast charging compared to 45W on the vanilla OPPO F27.

The 64MP camera on the OPPO F25 Pro and F27 Pro+ is replaced by a 50MP Omnivision OV50D primary camera. While the OPPO F25 Pro gets an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP macro sensor, the new F27 is limited to just a 2MP portrait sensor. The front 32MP is unchanged on the OPPO F27 and the OPPO F25 Pro, while it is downgraded to an 8MP shooter on the OPPO F27 Pro+.
