The OnePlus Pad 2 (review) debuted in India last January. It shipped with OxygenOS 14 based Android 14 OS out of the box and was updated to Android 15 in November. Now, the brand is seeding a new version of the OxygenOS 15 to the tablet. The update brings a new AI feature along with some additional features, system improvements, and an Android security patch. Read on to know everything below. 

OnePlus Pad 2 OxygenOS 15.0.0.401 update

  • The OnePlus Pad 2 is receiving the OxygenOS 15.0.0.401 update (via) with the firmware version OPD2403_15.0.0.401(EX01).
  • It is being rolled out in India, Europe, and global regions in a phased manner. Hence, it may take some time to reach all units. 
  • The update is available for users who are running the tablet on the OxygenOS 15. 
  • The latest version introduces a new AI feature called AI Reply. As the name suggests, it will recommend replies based on the context of the chat with support for various language styles. This will make responses more natural. 
  • The update also brings a Clone Tablet feature that makes it easier to migrate live photos from iOS devices. 
  • As per the changelog, the Pad 2’s Live Alerts (a real-time version of OnePlus’s Dynamic Island) now displays charging information, Spotify information, and status of torch. 
  • Multitasking is now improved with the ability to drag a floating window in to a full screen mode. 
  • The update also improves system stability, performance, and extends battery life in some scenarios. 
  • The OnePlus Pad 2 also gets the December security Android patch that enhances the security system. 

The OnePlus Pad 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 9,510mAh battery unit. It has a 3K 144Hz display and packs a host of AI features. The device starts at Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant in India.
