OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G starts receiving OxygenOS 15 update in India, OnePlus 11 to follow | Tech Tips
Lately, OnePlus has been rolling out OxygenOS 15-based Android 15 update to eligible smartphones. The brand is now seeding the latest software version to the mid-range Nord CE4 Lite 5G in the Indian market. The device shipped with Android 14 OS when it launched in June earlier this year. The Nord 4 and Nord CE4 started getting the update two days ago. If you’re unaware, the stable version is also hitting the OnePlus Open and OnePlus 12 devices.
OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G getting Android 15 update
- In an official community post, OnePlus confirmed that the OxygenOS 15-based Android 15 update is rolling out to only Nord CE4 Lite 5G users in India.
- The rollout is happening in a phased manner, hence, it should take some time to reach all devices in the region.
- A wider release of the update is expected to happen in the coming weeks although OnePlus is yet to confirm on the timeline.
- The software version number of the OxygenOS 15-based Android 15 update for the Nord CE4 Lite 5G (review) is CPH2619_15.0.0.303(EX01).
- If you don’t get the update notification, you can manually check for it by heading to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Software Updates.
On the community forum, OnePlus’s Head of OOS Operation Team revealed that the OnePlus 11 5G is probably set to get OxygenOS 15 next week. The smartphone launched last February with Android 13 and was updated to Android 14 by the end of the year.
OxygenOS 15-based Android 15: what’s new
The changelog of the Android 15 version for the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G isn’t any different from the changelog for other eligible phones that have started receiving the update. It brings a revamped homescreen with visual effects, new flux themes, live alerts, and more. The latest software also introduces new floating window gestures, OnePlus Share for seamless transfer with iOS devices, and a battery charging limit feature.
