OnePlus introduces new monthly OxygenOS software update series, here are the eligible models | Tech Tips
OnePlus has announced a new monthly software update series for its devices, which will be incorporated into the regular system upgrades. This update will also introduce OnePlus’ self-developed apps and a range of new features. This update arrives for phones with firmware version U120P01(BRB1EX01) and U120P01(BRB3EX01) for tablets.
OnePlus introduces OxygenOS U120P01
- With this update, OnePlus users get the latest enhancements and improvements bypassing the usual gradual OTA process.
- OnePlus says the update is distributed in a phased manner to ensure a stable installation.
- The update already started rolling out on August 2nd and will be completed by around September 6th.
- The notification regarding the update will hit users in Asia-Pacific countries/regions, including India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore.
- Middle Eastern countries like UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and others will also receive the update.

One can check for the update by heading to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS card. The company says that this is an incremental update, which means it will only reach a small set of users first and gradually expand to more users.
