OnePlus Ace 5 series pre-reservations begin in China; new OnePlus tablet and Buds Ace 2 launching too | Tech Tips

OnePlus Ace 5 series is already confirmed to debut in China later this month, with the exact date yet to be revealed by the brand. The lineup could include two models: the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. The company recently teased the design of the phone. Before the announcement, the OnePlus Ace 5 series has now gone up for pre-reservations in China. 

Furthermore, it looks like a new OnePlus tablet and the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 TWS earbuds will also launch alongside the Ace 5 series. 

OnePlus Ace 5 series pre-reservations

• The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro pre-reservation listings are live on the official website and these reveal the details like RAM/storage options and chipset.
• The phones will be available in multiple storage options: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
• The vanilla model will arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Ace 5 Pro will ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

• There’s also a render of the phone, which shows the centre-positioned punch-hole cutout and narrow bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.
• Interested customers can pre-reserve the phones on the official website and receive special benefits like personalised engraving, screen break protection for an extra year, and more.
• The OnePlus Ace series is usually exclusive to China but the vanilla model is rebranded as the OnePlus R series flagship in markets like India. Similarly, the OnePlus Ace 5 may debut as the OnePlus 13R.

New OnePlus tablet and TWS earbuds

Besides the OnePlus Ace 5 series, a new OnePlus tablet and OnePlus Buds Ace 2 TWS earbuds are also up for pre-reservations on the website. 

OnePlus tablet

• The listing on the website just mentions the OnePlus Tablet without any explicit name. It’s confirmed to launch in Tundra Green and Space Ash colours.
• The tablet will have multiple storage options: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. The OnePlus tablet will support stylus input as well.
• The listing includes the renders of the tablet, which suggests it could be a rebrand of the recently launched OPPO Pad 3 (considering the design is identical), corroborating a recent report.
• It has a large display with slim bezels and a circular module on the back to house a single camera sensor and an LED flash.
• If it is indeed an OPPO Pad Pad 3 rebrand, the OnePlus tablet may come with MediaTek Dimensity 8350, an 11.6-inch 2.8K display, a 9510mAh battery and 67W fast charging.

OnePlus Buds Ace 2

• OnePlus Buds Ace 2 will be available in Submersible Black and Instant Blue colours. There will also be a new green colour, going by the teaser image.

• The earbuds will have a stem design with silicon tips. The charging case has an oval-shaped design.
• Not much else is revealed about the earbuds but they may arrive with an affordable price tag.
