The OnePlus Ace 5 series is set to launch in China on December 26th. The design, colour options, and configurations of the upcoming offerings have already been revealed. Now, ahead of the launch, the brand has shared some additional details about the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro in a series of teasers on Weibo. These include the phone’s battery, connectivity, cooling system, and more. The Pro model will remain exclusive to the China market just like its predecessor – the Ace 3 Pro.
More OnePlus Ace 5 Pro details revealed
- The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is confirmed to be backed by a 6,100mAh battery unit.
- It will come with support for 100W charging and is said to top up the device fully in just 35 minutes.
- The upcoming offering is teased to feature a double-sided crystal shield glass for protection against drops and scratches. It is confirmed to have an IP65 certification.
- The smartphone is teased to be equipped with three-microphone array for reducing environmental noise for a clear audio quality on calls.
- Internally, the Ace 5 Pro will accomodate robust cooling capabilities called ‘Tiangong Cooling Elite’ system that comprises of a dual ice core VC, a 3D stereo dual-channel capillary structure, and a unique chip air duct design that reduces temperatures by up to 5 degrees.

- The device is also confirmed to pack a Wi-Fi G1 chip for stable network chipsets during gaming. The Bluetooth signal is also said to cover up to 400 meters.
- Lastly, the OnePlus Ace 5 series will come with support for Dolby Vision for an enhanced video quality for an immersive viewing experience.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is already confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and come in five RAM and storage configurations maxing out at 16GB + 1TB. In AnTuTu’s results, the phone scores 3,218,978 points respectively. As for the standard Ace 5, it is launching in the global markets, including India, as the OnePlus 13R on January 7th.
