OnePlus Ace 5 display, battery, and fast charging details leak | Tech Tips

The OnePlus Ace 5 series comprising of a standard and pro model is expected to launch in China later this month. The processors of both smartphones have already been confirmed. The vanilla variant’s design from the front and back has also been revealed. Now, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key details including the display, battery, and charging of the OnePlus Ace 3 on Weibo.

OnePlus Ace 3 will reporteldy pack a big battery but slower charging

• As per DCS, the OnePlus Ace 3 is said to come with a 6.78-inch BOE X2 8T LTPO panel which is found on the flagship OnePlus 13. 
• The upcoming offering will bear a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate which is the same as its predecessor. 
• Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 6,285mAh rated battery cell. The typical value may be marketed as 6,415mAh. 
• The device will come with support for 80W fast charging which seems downgraded compared to 100W on its predecessor. 

• The Ace 5 is already confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. DCS says that it will be clocked at 3.3GHz. 
• The tipster reiterates that the standard model will feature a metal middle frame, a crystal shield glass, and a ceramic body. 
• There will be a three-stage alert slider. 
• To recall, the OnePlus Ace 3 is backed by a 5,500mAh battery and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. 

The OnePlus Ace 5 has a design similar to the OnePlus 13 with a flat frame, a circular camera island, and an alert slider on the left side. It will arrive in a Green colour with more options expected at launch. A recent official look at the upcoming offering revealed that the  display is surrounded by thin bezels on all four sides and there is a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. We should learn more details about the OnePlus Ace 5 series in the coming days. 

The OnePlus Ace 5 will debut as a rebranded OnePlus 13R in global markets including India. It’s predecessor was announced in January this year.
