OnePlus 13 tipped to offer 24GB RAM but with an increased price tag | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 launch is confirmed for October and it could be one of the first phones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. There have been plentiful leaks already about the company’s upcoming flagship that talk about its specifications and features. A new tip suggests that it will continue to offer 24GB of RAM as the biggest memory variant. However, OnePlus might increase the price of this particular model. 

OnePlus 13 to launch with 24GB RAM

• OnePlus 13 is tipped to launch with 24GB RAM according to the tipster Digital Chat Station. It’s said to be among the first batch of new flagships to offer this variant.
• OnePlus 12 was also offered with 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage, and the same configuration is expected on the OnePlus 13 as well.
• However, this time, OnePlus might increase the cost of the top variant. For context, the OnePlus 12GB RAM variant launched at CNY 5,799 (Rs 68,200 approx). 
• It’s worth mentioning that the OnePlus 13 24GB variant might remain exclusive to China as seen with the previous model. In India, the 16GB model is the top-end variant. 

OnePlus 13 specifications (expected)

As mentioned above, there have been several leaks about the OnePlus 13 specifications. So here’s what to expect from the upcoming flagship. 

• Display: OnePlus 13 is tipped to feature a 6.82-inch 2K OLED 10-bit LTPO BOE X2 micro-curved display. OnePlus has already confirmed that a future phone will feature the BOE X2 display. 
• Processor: The new OnePlus phone will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. This chipset is due to launch next month and OnePlus 13 could be one of the first phones to feature it.
• Cameras: OnePlus 13 is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony LYT808 sensor with 1/1.4 aperture, a 50MP LYT600 periscope lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens at the back.
• Battery, charging: OnePlus 13 might pack a massive 6000/6100mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
• Other features: Like the previous models, the OnePlus 13 is also expected to come with IP69 water and dust resistance, NFC, and dual stereo speakers.
• Software: OnePlus 13 is expected to launch with Android 14 out of the box. 

OnePlus 13 was recently spotted online in a new leaked render showing off the phone’s design. It’s the same circular camera design but this time it’s not stuck to the side and slightly moved. This leak shows the OnePlus 13 in a new light green colour with a vegan leather back, which is a shift from the glass back. But this could be one of the variants with the other continuing in glass.
