OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R official cases leak ahead of India launch | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R are set to launch in India on January 7th. The former already launched in China back in October of last year so we already know what’s on offer, while the latter is believed to be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 5, which also debuted in the home country a few days ago. Before their global launch, renders and names of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R cases leaked online.

• There are a total of four case images, as shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, for the OnePlus 13 and 13R combined.
• These are said to be the official cases (not third-party) that will be offered by OnePlus for the phones.

• OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will get the ‘Sandstone Magnetic case’, which should offer a sandpaper-like texture for a better grip. 
• The other two cases include a Wood Grain Magnetic Half-pack case and an Aramid Fiber Magnetic case for the OnePlus 13. 
• As the name suggests, the former may offer a wooden-style design, while the latter could offer better durability and protection to the phone, while also being thin. 
• Since the case names mention ‘Magnetic’ we expect OnePlus to bring the magnetic accessories (power bank) that were debuted in China to global markets as well.
• In China, OnePlus offers a 5,000mAh magnetic power bank that weighs just 120 grams and also brings support for iPhones. There is also a 50W AirVOOC magnetic wireless charging shell. This has a unique circular disk-shaped design.

OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R are flagship offerings, with the former arriving with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the latter will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Both phones will ship with OxygenOS 15 out of the box and should be bundled with new AI features. The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will be available via Amazon and the OnePlus website in India.
