OnePlus 13 bags BIS, TUV Rheinland certifications hinting at imminent India, global launch | Tech Tips

The OnePlus 13 debuted in China last month. The smartphone’s global launch timeline remains under the wraps. Now, the device has been spotted on BIS and TUV Rheinland certification websites. This suggests that the OnePlus 13’s launch in India and the global markets could be imminent. The global version is expected to pack the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart.

• The OnePlus 13 carries a model number CPH2649 on BIS and TUV Rheinland certification websites. 
• The BIS listing confirms that the device could launch in India soon. 
• It could also make its way to the global markets at the same time. 
• The TUV listing has the smartphone’s China model number i.e PJZ110. Hence we speculate that this device is indeed the OnePlus 13.

It’s worth noting that the certification listings do not reveal the exact launch timeline of the device. The OnePlus 12 (review) was released in China last December. It launched in the global markets a month later. Going by the same, it remains to be seen if the OnePlus 13 is unveiled internationally next month. We can expect details like the global launch, pricing, and availability of the OnePlus 13 to surface in the coming weeks.

Since the OnePlus 13 has already launched in China, we know its specifications. 

• Display: The OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch 2K flat AMOLED display with LTPO 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
• Hardware: The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. 
• Cameras: It has Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup comprising of a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto unit. 
• Battery and OS: The phone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery cell with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It runs on Android 15 OS. 
• Others: The OnePlus 13 has a redesigned camera island, a flat frame, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68+IP69 certification.
