OnePlus 13 Amazon availability confirmed ahead of India launch | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 is confirmed to launch globally and in India around early 2025. The flagship originally debuted in China back in October as one of the first with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The company is running a contest on its website for interested buyers. While the company is yet to reveal the exact launch date, the dedicated microsite has now gone live on Amazon.

OnePlus 13 India launch around the corner

• The Amazon microsite has the OnePlus 13 listed with a ‘coming soon‘ tag and shows the flagship in Black Eclipse, Midnight Ocean, and Arctic Dawn colours.
• Unlike the China version, which came with ColorOS custom skin, the Indian model will arrive with the OxygenOS 15 skin. The Amazon listing highlights some key features of the OS.

• There will be multiple AI features, new animations, Wallpaper Wonderland, Gaussian Blur, an Easter Egg and Always-on-Display and theft protection.
• The phone brings a new AI Details Boost feature that preserves the details in photos even when zoomed in. AI Unblur removes any blur in portrait shots, thereby making the images look more natural. AI Reflection Eraser removes reflections from images.
• The AI Notes feature performs multiple tasks like offering instant summaries, formatting the text, adjusting the tone (formal/casual), and more.
• The ‘Theft Protection‘ feature protects the data if your phone is stolen or lost. The Theft Detection Lock locks the screen if it detects someone took your phone and ran away. The offline device lock will lock the screen shortly after the device goes offline to help protect the data.

OnePlus 13 may retain the same hardware as the Chinese model. The phone should arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 6000mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and a 6.82-inch 2K display. OnePlus 13 price in China started at RMB 4,499 (approx Rs 52,500). We expected the price in India to be slightly higher. 

For context, phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in India, the Realme GT 7 Pro and iQOO 13 are availablex at Rs 59,999 and Rs 54,999 (exclusive of any bank offers). We should learn more details soon.
