However, it is still expected to launch soon in the home country, as a tipster has come up with the phone’s launch timeline alongside its chipset details. Additionally, the launch timeline of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro has also been tipped. Here are the expected details of the Redmi Turbo series phones. 

Redmi Turbo 4 China launch timeline, chipset details

• Redmi’s General Manager Wang Teng recently suggested that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be launched soon in China. However, he now says, “Plans have changed!”.
• Meanwhile, a tipster on Weibo has posted that the Turbo 4 might pack the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC, which is launching in China on December 23rd, corroborating recent reports.
• Additionally, the tipster mentioned that the Redmi Turbo 4 will go official in China in January 2025 instead of December 2024. However, there’s no specific date yet.

It is unclear why the launch has been delayed, but reports suggest that the brand is currently focusing on the sales of the Redmi K80 series, which launched in China in November this year. However, there is no confirmation regarding this. Meanwhile, Redmi is expected to come up with the official date soon for the Turbo 4, which will come as the successor to the Redmi Turbo 3, launched this year.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro launch timeline

Redmi has yet to reveal the launch date of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, but ahead of the official announcement, tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo hinted at the upcoming smartphone’s launch timeline.

He suggests that the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite-powered smartphone will go official in China in April 2025. While the tipster did not mention the phone’s name, rumours suggest the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro could debut with this chipset.

• The Redmi Turbo 4 might offer a 1.5K flat-screen display and house the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset.
• On the other hand, the Pro variant will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.
• The upcoming Redmi phones are expected to sport a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support.
